Martide’s partners are seeking professional and customer-focused Waiters to join their hospitality teams on cruise ships and passenger ships. This role provides an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality dining experiences to guests from around the world. Waiters will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring smooth meal service, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Working as part of an international team, this role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities generally include:

• Greet guests, present menus, and provide information on daily specials, menu items, and beverage options.
• Take guest orders accurately and relay them to kitchen and bar staff for preparation.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with established service standards.
• Ensure that tables are properly set, cleaned, and reset between seatings.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors.
• Support buffet service by refilling dishes, restocking utensils, and ensuring a clean presentation.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for special events, functions, or theme nights.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including the handling of food and beverages.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure efficient service.
• Participate in training sessions, safety drills, and daily briefings as required.
