Martide’s partners are seeking dedicated and service-oriented Stewards to join their hospitality teams aboard cruise ships. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness, providing exceptional guest service, and supporting the overall guest experience on board. Stewards are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest cabins, public areas, and crew accommodations while ensuring that guests receive prompt and courteous service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities generally include:

• Cabin Cleaning & Preparation: Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest cabins, ensuring they are tidy, comfortable, and fully stocked with toiletries, towels, and amenities.
• Public Area Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lounges, corridors, stairwells, dining areas, and recreational spaces, ensuring a presentable and hygienic environment.
• Guest Service & Assistance: Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items, special accommodations, or housekeeping needs, providing courteous and professional service.
• Laundry & Linen Handling: Collect, sort, and distribute guest laundry, as well as manage the rotation of clean linens, towels, and bedding for cabins and communal areas.
• Sanitation & Hygiene Compliance: Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols in compliance with international maritime regulations, maintaining hygiene in all guest and crew areas.
• Waste Management & Disposal: Safely handle and dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with environmental guidelines and shipboard waste management protocols.
• Reporting & Documentation: Report any maintenance issues, lost property, or guest complaints to supervisors, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
• Emergency Response & Support: Participate in emergency drills and support real-time emergency response activities, such as fire evacuation or passenger assistance.
• Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, such as toiletries, cleaning products, and cabin amenities, to ensure continuous availability.
• Team Collaboration & Support: Work closely with other stewards, housekeeping supervisors, and shipboard departments to ensure smooth daily operations and high levels of guest satisfaction.

Crew Accommodation Cleaning: Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of crew living spaces, ensuring they remain clean, sanitary, and fit for use.
