Martide’s partners are seeking motivated and service-oriented Assistant Bartenders to join their team aboard a cruise or passenger ship. In this role, you will assist the bartending team in delivering exceptional beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to upholding the highest standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities generally include:

• Support the Bartender in preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and supplies.
• Replenish stock and assist with inventory control to ensure the bar is always fully operational.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, offering recommendations and addressing their needs promptly.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as outlined by maritime regulations.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for daily operations and special events.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, adhering to company policies.
• Participate in training and team-building activities to enhance service quality and team cohesion.
