0 Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Seafarer Jobs

Martide’s partners are seeking skilled and dedicated maritime professionals to fill various ranks and positions aboard Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels. These vessels play a critical role in offshore operations, including towing, anchor handling, and supply duties for offshore rigs and platforms. Crew members work as part of a highly skilled, safety-focused team, operating in challenging marine environments. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties (varies by role and rank):

Deck Crew (Able Seafarers, Deckhands, Bosun)

• Assist in the handling, deployment, and recovery of anchors, mooring lines, and towing equipment.
• Support rig-move operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of anchors and equipment.
• Operate and maintain deck machinery such as winches, cranes, and capstans.
• Conduct routine deck maintenance, including painting, cleaning, and repairing equipment.
• Follow safety procedures during anchor handling and deck operations, wearing appropriate PPE.
• Participate in emergency response drills and support rescue operations as needed.

Engineering Crew (Wipers, Motormen, Engineers, Chief Engineer)

• Operate, maintain, and repair the ship’s mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor and log the performance of engines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair technical issues related to propulsion, power supply, and deck machinery.
• Assist with planned maintenance and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Manage spare parts, inventory, and requisitions for engineering supplies and equipment.
• Respond to mechanical emergencies, coordinating with senior crew to restore operational readiness.

Bridge Crew (Watch Officers, 2nd Officer, Chief Officer, Captain)

• Oversee navigation, chart plotting, and watchkeeping duties to ensure safe passage.
• Coordinate and execute towing, anchor handling, and rig-move operations.
• Manage deck operations and ensure crew compliance with maritime safety regulations.
• Supervise the planning and execution of supply and cargo transfer operations.
• Ensure proper communication with offshore rigs, platforms, and port authorities.
• Lead safety briefings, emergency drills, and risk assessments in line with ISM and company policies.

General Responsibilities (All Ranks and Positions)

• Comply with safety protocols and maritime regulations at all times.
• Participate in emergency response drills and readiness exercises.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
